Due to the strong growth, the internal track construction of the Lappwaldbahn was outsourced into an independent GmbH, LWG Lappwaldbahn Gleisbau GmbH (LWG). The company headquarters are in Weferlingen and it is entered in the commercial register as a company with limited liability at the Hanseatic city of Stendal’s district court under the commercial register number HRB 22976.
LWG is predominantly concerned with new construction projects as well as with the upgrading and maintenance of the infrastructure of the Lappwaldbahn Group. In addition, LWG provide services for customers with neighbouring infrastructures and for various sidings. Mr Kai Ebert was commissioned as the company director. The LWG is an active member in VDV, among other things.
